The Engine oil is instrumental in performance and life of the vehicle. Honda recommends 10W30 MA for Motorcycle models produced in India while10W30 MB grade engine oil is recommended for dry clutch scooter models.

Free services are need to be availed within the certain distance covered and time from date of purchase, whichever comes earlier.

Engine oil property deteriorates with the passage of time & usage of vehicle and therefore it is imperative to change Engine oil to 'maintain superior performance and improve overall durability of engine' as per the maintenance schedule for particular vehicle model.

6. Which parts are covered under warranty?
Honda provides warranty on the vehicles with respect to the defect in material or workmanship in manufacturing and not for normal wear & tear or deterioration caused with usage, passage of time etc.. Parts such as clutch plate, brake shoe, tyre & tube, chain & sprocket etc. may need replacement due to its 'wear & tear' and are therefore not covered under warranty. The detailed warranty policy is provided in the owners manual of the vehicle.

On Board Diagnostic System(OBD) monitors the components that can affect emission. All our products are OBD I regulation compliant. We have launched our new Activa Scooter which is already OBD II A compliant. The OBD II A norm will be implemented from April 2023 Onwards.

Annual Maintenance Contract(AMC), as the name suggests, is an annual package offer by Honda dealership for vehicle maintenance/repairs at a reasonable price, thereby offering service and parts on a discounted price providing overall cost saving upto 30%.

9. Can I go to any Honda Service center for Free Service or Warranty Repair?
Honda customers are free to avail services from any authorized Honda Service Network across India and one would need to produce owners manual to avail free service or warranty repairs.

10. What is the difference between Ex showroom price and on-road price?
'Ex-showroom price' is the price of a vehicle alone, including all taxes & levies, whereas the 'On-road price' additionally covers statutory requirements like Insurance, Registration, Road tax etc.

13. I have purchased a Honda Motorcycle recently and seen that headlamp switch is purposely removed as per AHO compliance. Can I fit an external Headlamp switch in my vehicle?
In the AHO featured vehicles, during the time of usage Headlamp has to always remain ‘ON’ and therefore there is no need for a manual switch to operate it. Honda does not recommend to fit any external switch as it may result in violation of Government regulations. Further, any damages relating to any such alteration in the vehicle will not be covered under warranty.

14. What is Automatic Headlight ON (AHO) Feature?
Honda has already initiated ‘Automatic Headlight ON (AHO)’ function in its vehicle models in line with the notification by Government of India, for all new 2-Wheelers manufactured in the country from April 2017, to have a provision of AHO.In Automatic Headlight ON (AHO) feature, the Headlight will get ‘ON’ as soon as the engine is started and there is no switch to turn off the Head Light. ‘Automatic Headlight ON’ situation of your vehicle helps other to recognize your vehicle position in foggy / dusty environment condition
